Hello Iron Bog.  I have received word that our Baron and Baroness wish to seek an additional two year term.  Per the baronial bylaws, this now opens up the possibility of other candidates submitting a letter of intent should you wish to fill the role.  The period to submit your letter of intent will close at midnight on July 3, 2020. Letters of intent can be emailed (seneschal@ironbog.eastkingdom.org) or mailed via the post office to the seneschal, but must be received prior to the closing date.

If no new candidates put forth a letter of intent, we will be having a vote of confidence for the additional two year term requested.

If there are candidates who wish to challenge for the baronial seat, an announcement will be made at the July business meeting, that would kick off the polling process.  The meeting will take place on Tuesday, July 7th, starting at 7:30.  The meeting will be held online.  Please use the below link to join:

Greetings to the Officers and Populace of the great Barony of Iron Bog,

Serving as your Baron and Baroness has been the greatest pleasure and honor of our SCA experience. Though we know we have had a learning curve, we have tried to work hard to encourage and support the people of the Barony both at home and afar. We feel as though time has been short, and that we have so much more yet to do. And so, with your vote of confidence we would very much like to serve for an additional two years as Baron and Baroness.
